Question: How long will service last?
Answer: Service will start promptly at 10am and conclude around 11:00am. The Easter Egg Hunt will be after service in the gym, once families have had time to gather their children from the children's rooms and make their way to the gymnasium.
Question: Should my child join me in adult service or go to the children's ministry?
We would really recommend having your child join the fun in Alive Kids! Our Alive Kid classrooms are full of qualified, trained, background checked teachers who will love on your kids and teach them about God's love in age-appropriate ways. The adult service is geared for adults, and there might be certain elements of the adult service that is too dramatic for young children. Want to know more about the children's ministry - check out our Alive Kids page.
QUESTION: What is the vibe of this church?
Our vibe is friendly, relational, down-to-earth, kind, passionate, faith-filled. We believe that church should feel like home & feel like family. A place where you always feel loved and celebrated. Check out more on our vibe here. You can also get a feel for our Lead Pastors teaching style by checking our our listen page here.
QUESTION: Do you normally have church at Scranton?
Yep! Every Sunday at 10am we have church at Scranton Middle School. We are a new church that just launched this Fall and it is incredible to see how we have grown in a short amount of time! Want to know more about our story & our pastors - check out this page.
QUESTION: What does a church in a school look like?
Check out some of the images below to get a sneak peak at Alive Family Church's venue before you visit. Scranton Middle School really does get transformed into a church on Sunday mornings, and we often hear people say that Alive has one of the most "friendly and excellent" church environments they have ever been in!
We hope to see you this Easter! It is going to be a unforgettable event and we'd love to experience it with you!
