Annual Legacy Offering
Legacy Offering is an annual opportunity for all of us to collectively give over and above our normal tithes and offerings to make a difference in people’s lives here in Michigan and around the world. We love having an opportunity to give sacrificially to accelerate the vision of our church and reach more people with the Good News of Jesus around the world.
This year’s Legacy Offering is Sunday, December 7th. We’re encouraging everyone to join with us on this special day. Our goal is not for a certain amount to be given, but for everyone to participate in some way. It’s not about equal giving, but equal sacrifice.
This offering will bless people’s lives in two areas. We will call them our Two Legacy Lanes.
Two Legacy Lanes:
1. International Missions - Safe Homes for School Age Kids in Uganda - Through this Legacy Offering you will help provide safe housing, daily meals, education, and discipleship in Christ for 200 children in rural Uganda through our mission partnership with Lasting Smiles. Lasting Smiles was founded in 2016 in Kyajja, one of the poorest communities in the Mukono District in central Uganda. Thier mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ by supporting vulnerable children living in poverty by providing them food security, education, health care, and protection. Right now they are raising funds to build a Safe Home dormitory that would provide better safety, education and discipleship for these precious children. Your Legacy Offering will help accelerate Lasting Smiles vision providing food security, education, health care, and protection to children in central Uganda.
2. Alive Family Church: Maximize Church Building/Property for Full Kingdom Impact - Through this Legacy Offering you will help maximize our church building/property for the greatest Kingdom Impact. Right now our Kingdom impact and capacity is limited by our parking lot size. At our 9am service, our parking lot is maxed out, but our sanctuary is half full. By expanding our parking lot, we can increase our impact and capacity by 74%. Your Legacy Offering will help accelerate the vision to maximize our property for full Kingdom impact through expanding our parking lot. The parking lot expansion will be a multi-year project and your Legacy gift will be some of the first seed toward that.

No matter the amount, you can play a crucial part in building the future generations of our church and the Church around the world. Everyone matters. Everything counts.

1. Bring your offering Sunday, December 7, and give it in the service.
2. Give online at alivefamily.church/give under “Legacy Offering”
3. Text your “offering amount” space “legacy” to 877-831-6546 (example: text “100 legacy” to 877-831-6546)
